Harshit Rana makes T20I debut as concussion sub against England in Pune

Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube was struck on the helmet by a bouncer from Jamie Overton in the fourth T20 International in Pune on January 31, 2025. Following the mandatory concussion assessment, Dube was substituted out of the match. Fast bowler Harshit Rana was approved as his concussion substitute, marking Rana’s T20I debut for India.

Rana strikes with his second ball on debut, steering the delivery to the keeper. Livingstone attempts an unusual shot given the circumstances, trying to guide the ball to third despite the seam movement and bounce in the channel. A clear deflection carries through to Samson, and India edges ahead in this contest.
