The International Cricket Council (ICC) honoured the best performers of 2024 across formats by handing out a slew of awards recently.
India pace ace Jasprit Bumrah bagged the Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year award for picking 65 wickets in the year, while left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh claimed the Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year honour for 36 scalps in the calendar year.
Meanwhile, India opener Smriti Mandhana was named the Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year for tallying a whopping 743 runs in the format in 2024.
New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr won the prestigious Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for being named the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year.
